What Does an RBT Do?

As a Registered Behavior Technician at Empower, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for ABA therapy services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to deliver one-on-one behavior therapy sessions.
  • Data Collection: Accurately record and analyze data to track client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.
  • Implementation of Behavior Plans: Execute behavior plans with precision and dedication to promote positive outcomes for clients.

RBT Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in our RBT job role, you should possess:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Completion of the 40-hour RBT training program.
  • Successful completion of the RBT certification exam.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
  • Compassion and dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges.
